Autopsy Decedent Care Services- Brinkhous Bullitt

Scheduled Work Hours: Applicants must be able to work full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday from as early as 7:00AM-5:30PM with rare weekend (hours/days subject to change based on department needs); holiday coverage is rotated between staff.

The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for organizing and overseeing the effective and efficient daily operations of Autopsy Technologist and Decedent Care Services staff.  This position provides direction and supervision to Decedent Care Services Autopsy Diener and Autopsy Diener employees, including selection, counseling, scheduling, and distributing workload. Employees in this class are considered experts within the area of assignment and provide assistance to both subordinates and other professional staff. This position is also responsible for acting as liaison with funeral homes, organ banks and the Medical Examiner’s office. Previous Decedent Care or Funeral Home experience is required.


Requires high school diploma and seven years of clerical, administrative, or secretarial experience, of which one year must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
