Job Description

Actively serve as a member of the leadership team in the radiation oncology department, directly working with radiation therapists, and other department members. As a member of the therapist team, coordinates day-to-day activities of the radiation therapists and performs technical and supervisory duties, enforcing established departmental and hospital policies and procedures in order to provide high quality and efficient patient care. The individual will be required to perform independently within department policies and procedures, demonstrate leadership and the ability to make decisions and solve problems as they arise.


Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline. Graduation from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program.

Five (5) years of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Demonstrated clinical experience as a registered radiation therapist in a high volume department, with progressively responsible experience performing radiation therapy. Two (2) years of experience supervising the work of radiation therapists is highly preferred.

Radiation Therapy certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT). Must be in good standing with all CE and license requirements.
