Job Description
RN needed for our Medical Intensive Care Unit
*This is a 36 hour per week position, day/night rotation, weekend rotation (12 hour shifts) with flexible self scheduling to meet the needs of the unit and staff. Straight Nights may also be an option.
*As a State employee, this position offers State benefits including health insurance options, retirement plans and a generous PTO package (accruals up to 230 hours/year.)
The Medical ICU is a 30-bed critical care unit that offers interprofessional care for critically ill patients having a wide range of medical and pulmonary diagnoses. The MICU has a rapidly growing oncology patient population which offers RNs the additional experience of developing oncology critical-care subspecialty skills. The MICU nurses have a strong sense of teamwork and are continuously teaching and learning. As a part of our team, you will grow in your Nursing profession.

Qualifications
Requires graduation for a state-accredited school of professional nursing and at least one year of nursing (RN) experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing and have a current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
