Job Description

Lead Therapist/Supervisor Home Rehab Services will assist with the facilitation of the administration, coordination, and educational needs of the Rehab Departments at UNC and Rex Home Services while working jointly with the other clinical team leads in the provision of continuity of information.

The duties and responsibilities will include scheduling, triaging, interviewing, orientation of new employees, creating policies and procedures and other clinical supervisory related duties.

Candidates must have excellent oral/written and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Requires expertise in specialty area assigned, ability to develop, market, revise and manage clinical program development and ability to preceptor students and educate staff improving rehab knowledge base.   Must be proficient with computers and adept at maintaining spreadsheets for tracking clinical and personnel information. Must have leadership skills to lead other staff at various proficiency levels, coordinates patient care of multiple clinicians, and adjust priorities to respond to changes in patient loads or staffing. Experience in a Home Health setting is highly preferred.

Hours will be Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM but there may be after hour or weekend needs for supervisory visits or patient care. Will also aid in the support of the agency with other team leads in an on-call rotation.  


Bachelor’s degree. BCLS; NC license in PT, OT, or ST required. A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in a nursing setting preferred.
