Job DescriptionPosition: Business Analytics Specialist
The essential duties and responsibilities of a Business Analytics Specialist include:
Manages and maintains physician transparency program for organization. This includes quantitative and qualitative data management. Responsible for outpatient patient satisfaction data upload management, reporting, and trainings. Also responsible for Press Ganey patient satisfaction data upload management and reporting, including quantitative and qualitative data management and training.
Responsible for Press Ganey WES data, including quantitative and qualitative data management and training.
Deliver service excellence and departmental presentations for outpatient services.
Leads Carolina Care initiatives and recognition programs. Tracks progress of changes and their impact on PG scores.
This position serves as a liaison between patients and families at UNCPN practices, facilitating complaint resolutions for the most complex and sensitive situations. The position serves as a patient resource for matters related to complaint resolution, compliance, policies and procedures.
Documents complaints by listening to patient and patient family complaints; documenting details, forwarding to appropriate practice leadership, and following-up on outcomes.
Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing patient complaint processes; implementing changes. Enhances patient advocacy, explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Acts as a consultant in relation to patient satisfaction to help sustain a patient-family centered environment.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Manages employee experience with a variety of projects (uniforms, stay interviews, recognition, etc.).
Perform other duties related to work described above, various employee and patient projects
