The Hospice House Nurse demonstrate competency in delivery of quality patient care to patients ranging in age from young adult to geriatrics.The staff nurse is responsible for developing and implementing a plan of care in accordance with the patients' express wishes and in full compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and organization policy, procedure and standards of care.
Applicant must have current unrestricted North Carolina or Compact State Registered Nurse licensure; BSN preferred. A minimum of 5 years recent clinical experience required; Hospice and/or skilled nursing home, hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred. Hospice Nurse Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of employment.
