Talent Tuesday - Nurses and Nursing Support Staff | UNC Hospitals - Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and WakeBrook campuses

Every Tuesday starting July 12th– August 9th, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

*By Appointment Only


Many positions are eligible for incentives including sign-on bonuses, commitment incentives, tuition loan forgiveness, and relocation assistance.

You will have the opportunity to meet with our Recruiters and discuss openings for full-time, part-time, and per diem positions. Don’t forget to bring a mask and your resume!

How do I qualify? 

Experienced RN:

  • Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing at time of hire.
  • If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

New Graduate RN:

  • Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing at time of hire. 
  • If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

Nursing Assistant I:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider certification 
  • Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language and able to develop basic computer skills 

Nursing Assistant II:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing 
  • Listed as a Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider certification 
  • Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language and able to develop basic computer skills 

Clinical Support Tech I:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English language. Capability to develop computer skills if not competent

Clinical Support Tech II:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience and six (6) months of related nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
