Cary Ortho is looking for a talented Physician Assistant for an exciting opportunity to work in tandem with one of our busy Physicians in one of the country’s top-rated areas for growth and lifestyle. We are looking for diligent advanced practice providers who are passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life. The Physician Assistant will be directly responsible to the physician for the overall direction, evaluation and treatment of patients assigned to them. 

Job Duties and responsibilities: 

• Accurately diagnose and facilitate the recovery of patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders as well as general musculoskeletal joint dysfunction. 
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to patient's specific need. 
• Office procedures including injections and other non-surgical care. 
• Triage and handling of patient related clinical questions and concerns 
• Prescription management. 

Job Requirements 

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. 
• NCCPA Certificate/ANCC Certificate/AANP Certificate 
• Physician Assistant licensure in North Carolina. 
• DEA and Controlled Substance License 
• Exceptional patient skills and experience. 
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and demands. 
• Proven attention to detail. 
• Desire to work in Physiatry/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 
• Orthopedic Spine Care experience preferred 
• High level of knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and functional spine mechanics a strong plus.
