UNC Eastowne Medical Office Building is located near the intersection of 15-501 and I-40 and includes free parking. Access to Eastowne is provided by the CL route of Chapel Hill transit.


We're hiring New Graduate Nurses, experienced Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practice Nurses (LPN), RN Care Managers, Nursing Coordinators, RN Patient Service Manager III, RN Patient Logistics Access Coordinators, RN Patient Logistics Access Specialists, Surgical Technologists, and Medical Assistants, Certified.

How do I qualify?

New Graduate Nurse/RN Clinical Nurse I

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification


RN Care Manager

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience.


RN Clinical Nurse II

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.


RN Clinical Nurse III

  • Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.


RN Nursing Coordinator

  • Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Five (5) years of professional nursing experience.


RN Patient Services Manager III

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Professional certification (ANCC Magnet approved) relevant to Management, Leadership or Clinical Area is required within the probationary period of employment.
  • Three (3) years of professional nursing in tertiary care and one (1) year of management experience in specialty area.


RN Patient Logistics Access Coordinator

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Must be licensed to practice registered nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Three (3) years of inpatient care experience required


RN Patient Logistic Transfer Specialist

  • Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing;
  • Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience required


Licensed Practice Nurse

  • Requires graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course (or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation) which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting
  • Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable state (NC or VA).
  • No experience required.


Surgical Technologist

  • Requires High School Diploma. 
  • Graduation from a Surgical Technology program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: 
  • BLS required. Professional Experience Requirements: 
  • Surgical Technologist I-A: Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with less than twelve (12) months of outside experience. 
  • Surgical Technologist I-B: Requires twelve (12) months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology experience.


Medical Assistant I, Certified

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required. 
  • Requires Medical Assistant certification by either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA). 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider certification


    Medical Assistant II, Certified

    • High school diploma or GED 
    • Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required.
