UNC Physicians Network is currently seeking Board Certified Family Medicine Physicians to join our Virtual Practice Primary Care Team. UNC Health Virtual Practice offers asynchronous E-visits, scheduled and on-demand video and telephone visits for a range of primary care conditions, allowing patients access to convenient, personalized care that fits their schedule, 365 days per year.
About This Position:
• 0.2 FTE (20%), working 8 hours per week. Day and evening shift options will be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Virtual management of acute and chronic primary care needs
• No call
• Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute
• Requirements:
o North Carolina Medical License
o DEA License
o Board Certified in Family Medicine
Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years of primary care experience is required
• Experience with behavioral health is a plus
• Open-minded and flexible with change
• Strong virtual presence
• Effective time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in the interest of providing efficient patient care
• Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care
