Summary:
Provides competent patient care for our cardiac population consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Cath Lab Manager. As a continuously growing Invasive Cardiology Program, our Cardiovascular Specialist (CVS) will assist the Interventional Cardiologist with the most complex invasive cardiology procedure. The CVS oversees the technical operations required for the performance of routine diagnostic through the advanced interventional cardiology procedures. The Cath lab performs diagnostic and intervention procedures to include STEMI, stent placement, rotabladder, shockwave, thrombectomy, TAVR, LAAO, laser lead extractions, PFO closure and other specific procedures.

Education Requirements:
● Associate's degree (A. A.) or graduation from a cardiovascular related program required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● RCIS, RRT, or RDCS required. ACLS. ARRT , RESP CARE preferred.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● At least one year experience in invasive procedures or 2 years relevant healthcare experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
