UNC Medical Center RN Virtual Hiring Event

Thursday, December 8, 2022 | 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Join us for the UNC Medical Center RN Virtual Hiring Event!

We're hiring experienced registered nurses (RNs) in several service lines at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, including:

  • Medicine Services
  • Surgery Services


Select experienced RN positions qualify for our UNC Hospitals RN Incentive Program, which includes up to a $20,000 commitment incentive or up to $25,000 in tuition loan forgiveness! In addition, select experienced RN positions are also eligible for up to $10,000 in relocation assistance (based on location).


How do I Participate?

*Interviews will be held over webcam or telephone on December 8, 2022, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Step 2: Upon a qualifications review and selection of your event application, our Nursing Employment team will contact you directly regarding RN opportunities.

How do I qualify?

Experienced RN:

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing
  • If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
