Summary:

Manager is responsible for budgeting, day-to-day planning and operations of the department. This position provides leadership and direction to staff and is
responsible for ensuring projects and tasks related to Interventional radiology, Vascular and Neuroendovascular care completed timely.

Responsibilities:
1. Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.
2. Evaluates staff performance and patient outcomes and implements improvement activities to assure safe, quality patient care.
3. Assures efficient staffing/patient care assignments according to patient care needs, including biophysical, psychosocial and age specific needs, and competency of staff.
4. Develops and monitors physician schedule to maximize patient access, ensure efficient use of Hospital resources to improve financial performance of the organization
5. Prepares and maintains accountability for unit budget(s), utilization of resource, and resolving budget variances to ensure operational viability.
6. Assures the implementation of policies & procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
7. Manages the daily operations of department programs and services by actively problem solving and communicating essential communication to physicians, coordinators, and staff to assure services are effectively rendered in an efficient working environment.
8. Ensures facilities and equipment are maintained to provide a professional setting with fully functioning equipment for the patient care experience. Provides analysis and recommendations for capital equipment purchases.
9.Establishes and maintains a regulatory/compliance environment by following organizational policy and procedures and ensures that mandatory training programs are effectively provided
10. Manages human resources in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Analyst
11. Monitors patient satisfaction levels to ensure that all patient complaints are effectively handled to attain maximum patient satisfaction.
12.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Candidate must possess one of the following licensures or certifications: RN, ARRT, BCLS, RT, RCIS, RCES
● BCLS
Professional Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years clinical and procedural experience required.
  • Direct IR, vascular, Cath Lab or Neuroendovascular experience preferred. Hands on-lab experience preferred. General Cath Lab, IR and Neuroendovascular Vascular experience a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of trustees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
