We are looking for a diligent midlevel provider who is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life. The Physician Assistant will be directly responsible to their collaborating physician for the overall direction, evaluation and treatment of patients assigned to them.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests relative to patient's specific need.
• Providing ED coverage
• Working with physicians on operative cases
• Triage and handling of patient related clinical questions and concerns.
• Prescription management.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA Certificate/ANCC Certificate/AANP Certificate
• Physician Assistant licensure in North Carolina.
• DEA and Controlled Substance License
• Exceptional patient skills and experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and demands.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Knowledge and experience in orthopaedics.
• High level of knowledge and experience with orthopaedic trauma, including fracture care/reductions in the ED setting .
