514 N Brightleaf Blvd., Smithfield, NC 27577 - Medical Mall Auditorium & Classrooms 1404A & 1404B


We're hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN), New Graduate Nurses, Operating Room Techs, and Nursing Assistants (NA) for the following areas:

  • Behavioral Health
  • Emergency Department
  • Flex Team -NAs only
  • Labor & Delivery - RNs, OR Techs, & NAs only
  • Medical-Surgical 3rd Floor
  • Medical-Surgical 4th Floor (Smithfield location only)
  • Nursery
  • Obstetrics
  • Operating Room - RNs & NAs only
  • Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - RNs & NAs only
  • Postpartum
  • Surgery -RNs & NAs only

How to Qualify:

Experienced RN Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.

New Graduate RN Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • No prior experience required.

Operating Room Tech

  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or a OR Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of recent experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience.

Nursing Assistant

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course
