Description
Job Summary:
The Director Cardiopulmonary and Neurodiagnostics Services oversees the operation and functioning of the Cardiopulmonary/\Neurodiagnostics departments. The Director is responsible for planning, implementing and directing the financial and operational goals of the department with respect to organizational goals, quality patient care at the least cost, safety, maintaining morale and continued evaluation of efficiencies. Supervises workflow and assists, assigns and instructs teammates.
Minimum Qualifications: Education Completion of a Respiratory Therapy Program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Licensure/ Certification: Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Therapists.
Experience: At least five years experience in a Respiratory Therapy position. Prior supervisory experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated leadership qualities, e.g., maturity, job knowledge, professionalism, communication skills, etc. to lead, guide and motivate others. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Proficient with MS Office and EMR software, preferably Epic.
