Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and administering the risk management program on a day-to-day basis for Onslow Memorial Hospital. Primary duties include ensuring effective loss prevention/control and compliance with state, federal guidelines and OMH Standards, documenting, managing and analyzing risk management data, conducting proactive risk assessments, conducting targeted risk management education, actively articulating and promoting a compelling vision for risk mitigation, providing risk management consultation with the objective of promoting patient safety and loss prevention activity in protection of organizational assets. The role is also responsible for developing partnerships with physicians, nurses and other clinical and non-clinical leaders to assess and understand the internal and external risk management landscape.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
• CPHRM preferred
Experience
• Five (5) years of combined experience that may include risk management, clinical, quality or legal work experience.
• Prior experience in risk management is preferred.
• Experience in leading teams, facilitation, interdisciplinary team building, process improvement, and data management.
