We are searching for driven, enthusiastic individuals to train to become Certified Medical Assistants with the UNC Pardee Health team! This is a full-time paid training program, after which successful trainees will take a CMA position in UNC Pardee’s physician practice network, with available locations in Henderson, Buncombe, and Transylvania counties.
During training, participants will be paid 17/hr and included in Pardee's benefits program, including medical / dental / vision insurance coverage, paid time off, and more. Participants will develop practical skills in both classroom and workplace environments to prepare them for clinical care in a physician practice setting.
After completing the training program, participants will test for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential. Participants are expected to pass this exam, after which they will receive a raise and transition to a benefitted, full-time position in our physician practice network. This program requires a 2-year commitment to stay with UNC Pardee. Locations for these full time positions are flexible, as we have available openings in our Primary Care, Urgent Care and Specialty Practice networks, spanning dozens of locations in Henderson, Buncombe and Transylvania counties.
