We are looking for Registered Nurses and Surgical Techs to join our team at Rex Holly Springs Hospital! Participating service lines include:

Medical-Surgical (Registered Nurse day and night shift opportunities available): The Med Surg unit is a 24-bed unit that consists of 18 medical surgical, acute care beds and 6 Intermediate Care beds. Our team provides care to a large variety of types. Med Surg Leadership and the entire UNC Healthcare team supports a positive environment with professional growth opportunities to advance up the clinical ladder.

Medical-Surgical Short Stay (Registered Nurse day and night shift opportunities available): 5BT Short Stay is a 12-bed Med Surg unit. Our team provides care to patients in observation status with a typical length of stay of 24-48hr. Med Surg Leadership and the entire UNC Healthcare team supports a positive environment with professional growth opportunities to advance up the clinical ladder.

Operating Room (Surgical Tech and Registered Nurse day shift opportunities available): UNC Rex Holly Springs has a robust and efficient surgical program. We perform both inpatient and outpatient procedures on adult and pediatric populations in our 3 Operating rooms and 1 Procedure Room. The Nurses and Surgical Technologists provide intraoperative care for a variety of service lines including Orthopedics, General, GYN, Robotics, Neuro, Breast, ENT, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy. Minimum 1 year of experience working in OR is a must.

How do I Qualify?

RN Clinical Nurse: Graduation from school of professional nursing; RN license in North Carolina or compact state; BLS certification; One year of nursing experience. For Operating Room positions, must have one year of Operating Room experience.

Surgical Tech: Education Requirements: Requires High School Diploma. Graduation from a Surgical Technology program. BLS required. Professional Experience Requirements: ● Surgical Technologist I-A: Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with less than twelve (12) months of outside experience. ● Surgical Technologist I-B: Requires twelve (12) months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology experience.
