Job Purpose
The Anesthesia Coordinator is an integral team member to the overall day to day and long-range planning and functioning of the anesthesia department. The day to day activities of the Anesthesia Coordinator include, but are not limited to ensuring the anesthesia departments preparedness for Individual anesthetizing locations (OR and out of OR locations) by cleaning anesthesia machines, carts, and associated equipment (such as IV poles, fluid warmers, IV pumps, airway equipment) between cases, restocking OR rooms with anesthesia supplies and medications, and ordering and restocking anesthesia work rooms with supplies and coordinating with pharmacy for resupply of medications.
KEY CUSTOMERS SERVED AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains all equipment’s and monitors in good working order. Assist with blood warmers and with positioning patients on heating devices. Assists with ordering and providing all materials needed to provide anesthesia care to all patients.

o High School or equivalent, training as an Anesthesia Technician or O.R. Technician
• EXPERIENCE
o l year experience preferred din an anesthesia dept. or OR
• LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
o Anesthesia Tech or O.R Tech.
