JOB PURPOSE
• Provides a visual and physical deterrent to crime on the hospital campus while promoting a good customer service relationship with patients, visitors and staff.
KEY CUSTOMERS SERVED AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
• All patients, visitors and staff are served by providing 24 hour electronic and physical observation of the hospital campus in an effort to provide a secure working environment. Ensures that all hospital safety and security, policies and procedure are conformed with on a day to day basis.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION
o High School or Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE
o Three years experience in security, civilian/military law enforcement or an equivalent military career field.
• LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
o Valid North Carolina Drivers License required. Basic Law Enforcement Training certification (BLET) preferred, but not required.
