At UNC Family Medicine at Fuquay-Varina, seeks a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experience with interest in leadership or have experience in leadership. The Practice Medical Director manages clinical activities, quality metrics, QI projects, attends monthly practice leadership meetings and UNCPN medical director meetings where you get health system updates and the opportunity to give input into operations. UNCPN allows you to grow into your interest. For example, our medical directors have led Coumadin Clinics across the network, chaired patient experience committees, etc...

Job Qualifications 

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO) 
• Board certified internal medicine or family medicine required 
• NC State License preferred 
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required 
• Must be eligible for credentialing
