JOB PURPOSE
• To render professional and technical Polysomnography Testing/Scoring/education to assigned patients. Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care to achieve the highest standards of care specific to the age of the patient.
KEY CUSTOMERS SERVED AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Patients and families are served in providing direct patient care, performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and hospital. The role is also to insure that contacts with physicians and other customers are conducted in a manner that displays superior customer service.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION
o Successful completion of an accredited PSG educational program leading to a certificate or associates degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
• EXPERIENCE
o Minimum of one year experience in the sleep technology preferred.
•LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
o Active BCLS is required. RPSGT required.
