Summary:

The Organizational Learning Specialist maintains the education software databases and oversees the AHEC digital library system, to include problem solving and training. The Specialist assists with CME coordination, coordinates Sim lab, and maintains equipment and supplies. This position provides leadership, coordination, and technical support while monitoring on-going performance outcomes related to the eLearning platform. The Specialist coordinates and serves a Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor. This position makes recommendations for the development and maintenance of written procedures, incorporating changes due to regulatory requirements, customer service needs, compliance, and staff feedback. In addition, this position assists with monitoring on-going performance outcomes, reports deficiencies, and identifies opportunities for improvement to management. The Specialist utilizes analytical tools, data analysis methodology, and various databases to produce analytical reports. The position provides administrative, educational, and maintenance support of the various database information systems utilized to retrieve data. Assists with facilitating and coordinating orientation as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the loan and set up of equipment needs for meetings and presentations as well as accounts for the location of equipment in the Department.
  • Provides assistance to staff, physicians, and others on the use of the various computer programs.
  • Maintaining digital AHEC Library and sets up accounts for employees.
  • Sets up, operates, and maintains assigned work areas.
  • Takes an active role in self development.
  • Employee Onboarding
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Other information:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or  in Data Analysis, or Computer Science.
  • BCLS Instructor Certification.  Must receive within 6 months of hire and follow renewal requirements
  • RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
  • 2 years with Bachelors Degree experience in Business Services  with experience in Data Analysis, Computer Programs, or other related experience.
  • 6 years without Bachelors Degree  experience in Business Services with experience in Data Analysis, Computer Programs, or other related experience.
