The NAII is responsible for administering direct patient care and performing other duties deemed necessary to insure optimal patient care.
Patients and families are served in providing direct patient care services. Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner to project a positive image of the department and hospital. Insures that contacts with other health care members is friendly helpful and courteous.
High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of North Carolina (NC) Board of Nursing approved Nursing Assistant course.
Certified by the N. C. State Board of Nursing as a NAII. Certified by the N. C. Department of Facility Services as a NAI. BCLS Certification.
