Summary:
The Volunteer Services Manager leads the Pardee volunteer program, including facilitating the recruitment, training, task assignment and supervision of volunteers assisting the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and maintain daily operations of volunteer services within a defined budget. Monitors performance of volunteers to maintain a professional and service-oriented hospital atmosphere.
• Recruits and onboards volunteers to the organization, including the management of the selection process. Ensures appropriate recordkeeping, uniforms / identification and facility access for new and current volunteers.
• Facilitates and performs community outreach, including participation in and/or planning of events for the purposes of recruitment and volunteering program development.
• Facilitates volunteer task assignment, including placement of volunteers into work groups under the direction of departmental leadership. Organizes volunteer efforts for time-limited projects.
• Acts as a primary point of contact for volunteering staff and to any leaders to whom volunteers are assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading project based work in a professional capacity, including budgetary limitations
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Experience working in a customer service capacity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office application suite or similar desktop utilities, including spreadsheets and presentations
Preferred
• Experience working in a Human Resources capacity or role
• Prior formal supervisory experience.
