Summary:
The Clinical Manager, Rehab Services - Home Health, is responsible for day to day oversight and direction of all therapy and social work staff; this includes utilization, supervision, and instruction of staff. The Clinical Manager of Rehab Services also actively participates in establishment, implementation, and evaluation of goals and objectives of the agency in the provision of home health services to our community.
Responsibilities:
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and orients physical therapists, occupational, therapists, speech/language pathologists, and medical social workers in the home health agency.
• Manages rehab staffing to ensure appropriate utilization of services and to promote the agency standards of quality care for all patients.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of therapy and social work staff and provides mentorship and support to maximize their professional development in accordance with expectations.
• Reviews clinical documentation of rehab and medical social workers and offers education and guidance on strategies for timely and efficient charting as well as how to ensure regulations are met in accordance with expectations.
• Participates in program development, quality initiatives, marketing efforts, and other activities to ensure that the agency’s mission, strategic plan, and patient focused outcome goals are met.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in clinical field
• Two (2) years of experience working in home health
• Licensed to practice in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology, as subject to NC licensing requirements
• Current BLS certification
Preferred
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in respective discipline
• Prior management experience in a rehab affiliated setting
