Summary:
UNC Physicians Network is currently seeking a primary care advanced practice provider (Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner) to join our network at UNC Family Medicine at Wendell Falls, a new clinic, opening in February of 2025! This practice will be a full-service family practice, treating both children and adults.
Education Requirements:
● Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
●Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
