Job Summary

The Program Manager for Culture and Events is responsible for the successful planning, executing and coordinating of a variety of organizational culture programs and events. This role will play a key role in the creation of memorable experiences for our teammates while ensuring the successful delivery of programs and events within scope, time and budget constraints. This role designs, plans, tracks and evaluates Culture related programs and projects to ensure success.

Description of Job Duties

Program & Event Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define Culture programs and events scope, timelines, resources, and success metrics. 
  • Develop and implement program objectives to align with system-wide goals. 
  • Design and deliver engaging programs, events, and activities aligned with cultural values. 
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve program effectiveness and measure impact continuously. 
  • Plan, organize, and execute various system-wide events (conferences, seminars, workshops). 
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and marketing needs. 
  • Oversee on-site execution, manage volunteers, and troubleshoot unforeseen issues. 
  • Conduct post-event assessments and analyze data to demonstrate outcomes and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Manage data sets from various initiatives, analyze trends, and create reports and dashboards to showcase progress and correlations. 
  • Identify and interpret data in relation to organizational goals and values. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and partners. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (communications, project management) and external partners to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages participation and engagement. 
  • Communicate effectively with participants, sponsors, and vendors to address inquiries and ensure a positive experience.

  • Proactively assesses the need for change and obtains resources to implement change initiatives. Communicates effectively and appropriately.

Other Information

Education/ Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, project management, or a related field required. Master’s preferred.

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of program/event management experience. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Developing creative ideas and approaches for program and event design and execution. 
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to plan, execute, and monitor programs and events effectively. 
  • Understanding the various aspects of event planning, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, risk management, and marketing. 
  • The ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, sponsors, and vendors. 
  • Juggling multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining organization and focus. 
  • Anticipating and resolving challenges during program and event planning and execution.
