New to the OR Program Hiring Event
April 17, 2025 | 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Are you a new graduate or experienced RN looking to transition into the Operating Room?
The New to OR Program is a 6-month structured curriculum utilizing AORN’s PeriOp 101 to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience in perioperative nursing.
What to Expect from the Program:
Throughout the program, participants will engage in modules, evaluations, homework, and a final exam to ensure clinical excellence. You’ll work alongside a team of passionate OR professionals handling complex surgical cases and utilizing leading patient care models.

New Graduate RN Qualifications:
· Graduation from school of professional nursing.
· Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
Experienced RN Qualifications:
· Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
· If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
· Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
· One (1) year of nursing experience.
