DescriptionThe Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for providing the best care possible to patients being evaluated in the Cardiovascular Lab through maintaining optimum standards of safety during all procedures as well as maintaining an optimum level of quality assessment in all aspects of patient care and testing.
*** The Unit has more of an ECHO need but competent in vascular preferred ***
*** This position is eligible for a commitment incentive***
Prefer degree in Allied Health field. Registered as a Vascular Technologist and/or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RVT, RCS, or RDMS). Requires BLS certification.
Requires 1-2 years of allied health experience with at least one year of ultrasound experience. Experience may be substituted for lack of RVT/RCDS if there has been no opportunity to sit for an examination. However it is mandatory that the individual sit for the exam at the next available opportunity.
