This position may involve support of various hospitals and health care systems within the UNC Health Care System, but will be employed by Rex Hospital, Inc. (this includes, but is not limited to, for purposes of payroll, health benefits, retirement options, and applicable policies)

 
The Application System Analyst Sr position provides technical support for assigned applications running in a multi-tier environment. The responsibilities of this position include project management for assigned projects, new system implementation, installation of upgrades, database maintenance, system testing and monitoring, and interaction with vendors and users.


Preferred Qualifications:

 

10 years of IT experience highly preferred; 2 years of Infor Lawson Environment and ERP Applications technical experience; additional experience preferred in the following; UNIX, COBOL, JAVA environments and languages. Demonstrable analytics, project management, and team player experience is required. Infor Lawson experience must be demonstrable hands-on technical experience supporting any or all of the following: Lawson HR Payroll Suite, Lawson ERP, or Workforce Management. Preferred focus on supply chain and warehouse operations, mobile supply chain and Infor Process Automation (IPA). Technical support experience maintaining any of the mentioned applications in a health care environment is a plus.


Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

 

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

No licensure or certification required.
 

Professional Experience Requirements:

If a Bachelor's degree: Four (4) years of direct experience.

If an Associate's degree: Eight (8) years of direct experience.

If a High School diploma or GED: Twelve (12) years of direct experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers.
