RN-INTERVENTIONAL CLINCAL NURSE II
Location: Vascular Interventional Radiology - Memorial Hospital
Scheduled Work Hours: (Days) 8:00am-6:30pm four weekdays per week plus rotational call
Full-time RN needed for exciting opportunity in large Interventional Radiology Department. The Interventional Nurse II will be able to work all areas of interventional radiology which include care of patients before, during, and after procedures in VIR & VIR Prep/Recovery. Must have the ability to work independently and provide competent clinical nursing care that is consistent with professional standards. Daily accountability to the Vascular Interventional Radiology Nursing Director and VIR Procedural Nurse Manager.
Radiology Nurse (CRN), Cardiac-Vascular Nurse (RN-BC), Vascular Access Nurse (VA-BC), or MedSurg Nurse(CMSRN).
Working Knowledge in Moderate Sedation and IV Transfusion.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within two months of employment.
One year of nursing experience in any of the following areas: ED, ICU, Step-down, OR/PACU, Cardiac, Radiology, or other procedural care
Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. One (1) year of nursing experience. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
