UNC has an exciting opportunity for a full time RN position in one of our Women’s Health Clinics.  UNC Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Outpatient Clinic, located just across the street from Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC, is a busy surgery and procedural clinic serving women in need of urogynecological and pelvic surgery.  We are recruiting a dynamic RN to join a team of patient focused providers and staff.  This team has repeatedly received high awards for their patient focused care and patient satisfaction


This position provides direct patient care while working alongside our surgeons and nurse practitioners. In addition to triaging and completing a clinical intake for patients, the nurse will be assisting with patient examinations. This nurse will be trained to perform clinical procedures such as urodynamic studies, cystoscopies and voiding trials. Additionally, the nurse will be integral in delivering patient teaching and education, performing phone triage, and administering medications / injections along with other clinical duties in this busy clinic.  


Clinical education and detailed orientation regarding procedures performed in this clinic will be provided.



Qualifications

Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. One (1) year of nursing experience.

The successful candidate will exhibit flexibility, strong customer service and teamwork skills with a passion for learning. Women’s health care experience in an outpatient setting is preferred. 
This is a State position employed by UNC Health Care System.
