This position staffs the UNC HealthLink Clinical Call Center a 24 hour nurse based triage program. Must have superior nursing skills with strong clinical knowledge base as well as excellent counseling and patient education skills. The ability to make sound clinical judgements while simultaneously documenting in triage application required. Calls for the ability to work as a team as well as individually, adapt to a changing environment and effectively manage time. Role specifically needs a minimum of three years nursing experience including one year of pediatric nursing experience.
Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing. Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/ CPR required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing or a Master’s degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date
Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. One (1) year of nursing experience. If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
