The University of North Carolina Health Care Department of Anesthesiology provides a full range of anesthesia services working closely with the clinical departments. The Department offers a full spectrum of anesthesia care to patients of all ages. We are a Level I Trauma and State Referral Center with a CRNA practice including regional and general anesthesia. Requires graduation from an AANA approved school of Nurse Anesthesia, currently certified or eligible for certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
