Position:  Respiratory Therapist
Location:  Main  Hospital / Chapel Hill 
Hours:  Full Time, 36 hrs/wk; Nights; 7:00pm--7:30am; Must work two weekends per month

Our dynamic, motivated, and research driven Respiratory Care team is looking for qualified and licensed Respiratory Therapists to join us on night shift.

 

This is your chance to move forward and take the next big step in your Respiratory Therapy career. As a new member of our team going through your Respiratory Therapist orientation, our supportive, highly trained, knowledgeable and skilled leadership and education team members make sure that you are provided with one-on-one structured training.  They will ensure that you are set-up with the appropriate professional coaching needed to not only excel within in your career, but also to provide the best and highest quality patient care possible.

 

We’re currently hiring Respiratory Therapists (new graduates and experienced professionals) for multiple positions within the following areas of expertise:

·        Adult

·        Pediatric (two years’ Pediatric Critical care experience preferred)

 

Job Duties:

 

Under the direction of the Respiratory Care Leadership Team, and according to policies and procedures as defined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manuals, the Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care procedures and treatments designed to assess, prevent, stabilize or remedy patients’ respiratory dysfunction.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must be registered within one year of hire.
