Position: Respiratory Therapist / Pulmonary Diagnostics
Location: Chapel Hill / Primarily UNC Pulmonary Specialty Clinic at Meadowmont
Hours: Full Time, 40 hrs/wk; Days; 7:30am--4:00pm; Monday—Friday with Rotating late call weeks; 8:00am-4:30pm
Full-time Respiratory Therapist needed for exciting opportunity in a growing Pulmonary Diagnostic Department. The Respiratory Therapist will be able to work in the Pulmonary Function Lab at UNC Pulmonary Specialty Clinic at Meadowmont and also provide as needed coverage at the Medical Center. The RRT must have the ability to work independently and provide competent care that is consistent with professional standards. Critical Care experience, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and CPFT/RPFT preferred. Daily accountability to the Pulmonary Diagnostics Manager.
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Must be registered within one year of hire.
