DescriptionResponsible for assisting the Director of Clinical Care Management in overall operations of Clinical Care Management Department functions through daily and long-term oversight of department activities at UNC Hospitals. Provides management direction to designated department leadership and staff members. Assists Director in ensuring that the department achieves its goals and objectives by engaging internal and external stakeholders in clinical care coordination and outcomes management processes. Accountable for departmental Personnel Management, Fiscal Management, Communication, Customer Service, Goals/Outcomes Management, and Quality/Process Improvement Initiatives to ensure high level of quality consistent with organizational standards. Reports to the Director of Clinical Care Management.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school of professional nursing or Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field. BSN required for this particular opening.
Seven (7) years of experience in Care Management. Two (2) years of healthcare management experience. Will consider relevant combination of management and leadership experience.
