4 East is a 31 bed pulmonary and nephrology intermediate care unit. Nurses on this fast-paced unit care for patients with lung, kidney and heart related illness or diagnoses. Nurses monitor and manage patients with ventilators, peritoneal dialysis, arrhythmias and cardiac drips. We provide an exceptional level of care, continuously utilizing critical thinking and a wide range of clinical skills for patients with multiple comorbidities. We are a strong team that works hard and places high importance on providing the best in care and top patient satisfaction results.
QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED. Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course.
