Description

The HCS Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) provides program management for DEI and Workforce Development (WD) initiatives across the UNC Health system. This program management includes instructional design and delivery, Employee Resource Group (ERG) support, researching DEI and WD best practices, and advancing tools and approaches to meet organizational needs. This role will advise and coach individuals and groups across the organization in the effective use of DEI as well as WD tools and strategies.

The position reports to the HCS Director, Workforce Development and supports the HCS Director Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and HCS Director, Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development). 


Experience:

Four (4) years of relevant, professional experience in Program Management and (4) years in one of the following: Training and Education, Career and Workforce Development, or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System, in a department that provides shared services to operations across UNC Health Care. This is not a State employed position.
