Coordinate all clinical care within clinic to maximize safety, patient and co-worker satisfaction and quality outcomes.
This position is responsible for nurse calls, nurse triage and clinical support as well as many administrative functions. This position also provides training for all new clinical hires, competencies, quality checks, coaching and provides coverage for our office. This position helps manage the in-basket for the clinical team, prescription refills per protocol, standing orders, PCIC and PCMH measures, prior authorizations for both medications and procedures as well as providing coverage for lunch breaks. The RN Clinical Coordinator also assists in ordering clinical supplies through Lawson.
Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree (BSN). Two (2) years nursing experience with at least one (1) year in a medical office or outpatient setting. Prefer previous supervisory experience.
BLS certification required. Licensed to practice as RN in North Carolina.
