Nursing Assistant I needed for Medicine Acute Care - 3 West
On this 28-bed unit, the Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect care in hospital setting and all worked performed is under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Duties include but are not limited to, bathing, dressing, vital signs, serving and collecting food trays, feeding patients who require assistance, ambulating patients, turning/repositions patients, changing linens, running errands, directing visitors, charting, and answering the telephone and callbells.
Seeking a strong team player with good communication skills and basic computer skills.
This position is a 36 hour/week position; for Night shifts (6:45pm-7:15am) with weekend and holiday rotation. Position qualifies for an extensive benefit and PTO package. Must be able to complete a week long hospital orientation which is held bi-weekly, Monday through Friday (7:30am-5:00pm).
QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED. Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. Six (6) months of relevant nursing assistant experience, which may include a nursing assistant course.
