This position may involve support of various hospitals and health care systems within the UNC Health Care System, but will be employed by Rex Hospital, Inc. (this includes, but is not limited to, for purposes of payroll, health benefits, retirement options, and applicable policies)
The Application System/Analyst position provides technical support for assigned applications. Analyst is responsible for installing, administering, developing, and supporting the administrative applications for UNC Health Care System. Duties include but are not limited to process design, application build support, testing, job monitoring and recovery, hardware/server optimization and planning, application patches and upgrades, and providing high-level support to end-users to resolve systems issues.
Ideal candidate will have programming knowledge, client server experience, product support and vendor management experience. Must be able to work as part of a team with clear verbal and written communication skills. Exposure to learning management platforms and legal and risk applications is preferred e.g. Sumtotal, RLDatix.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers.
