The Medical Assistant I Certified provides routine clinical and administrative support to providers and other health care team members in an outpatient clinic setting. The Medical Assistant I Certified works under the clinical supervision of the provider for patient care activities, and under the general direction of the designated manager/supervisor for non-clinical responsibilities.
This is a busy practice that provides services to patients and providers from Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Pulmonology and Neurology. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Preferred candidates have experience in adult medicine including primary and specialty care. EPIC EMR experience is preferred. We seek a team player with a can-do attitude! Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task are important in our fast paced environment.
QualificationsRequires high school diploma or equivalent.
