The Division of Head and Surgery within the Department of Otolaryngology is seeking an Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join our team of five head and neck surgical otolaryngologists, a fellow, residents, medical students and specialized staff. Head and Neck Surgery here at UNC is a national and regional top tier program participating in a number of multi-disciplinary centers of excellence and serves patients locally here in the triangle, as well as those referred from throughout the state with complex oncology-related ear, nose & throat (ENT) issues. We seek a motivated, organized, and flexible individual that provides quality care for patients with both common and complex medical conditions. The APP will function in the realms of the outpatient cancer clinics, inpatient care/management and as an operative assistant. This APP should reflect the mission, vision, and values of the organization and will be expected to comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and other regulatory/accreditation standards.
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program. Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department.
