Position: Registered Nurse(PerDiem) -- Dialysis
Location: Main Hospital / Chapel Hill
The Dialysis Team needs a dynamic staff RN to join us in providing compassionate, safe, high quality acute dialysis for adult and pediatric population in our ten bed unit, ED, OR and ICU's. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and learn in our preeminent innovative academic medical center that has achieved Magnet status. We offer hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and CRRT utilizing cutting-edge technology to meet the needs of our patients. Team members enjoy a shared governance environment where continuously improving is the focus of our values. This position will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Dialysis experience is a must.
This is a PerDiem position which requires a minimum of 24 hours worked each month. Schedule is flexible based on needs of RN and unit.
Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing. Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/ CPR required.
