Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II
Location: Shared Services Imperial Center / Durham
Hours: Full Time, 40 hrs/wk; Days; 9:00am--5:30pm or 10:00am--6:30pm; every 4th weekend rotation required.
The UNC SSC Pharmacy Supply Chain Team is an integral part of Pharmacy Services throughout the UNC Health Care System. The SSC Pharmacy team serves pharmacy locations at many of the hospitals throughout the Health Care System and supports medication needs for over 300+ ambulatory practice sites. Primary responsibilities for this position include picking, checking and packaging medication orders, customer support, and coordination of pharmaceutical logistics. Additional responsibilities for this Pharmacy Technician position may include procurement, inventory management, centralized barcoding & repackaging, low unit of measure replenishment, and logistics management to move product throughout our Health Care System.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED. Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program preferred. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
