This position is responsible for special compliance and risk projects for UNC Health Physician Compliance, including system-level project planning, operational analysis, financial analysis, problem resolution, personnel management and performance improvement. The Physician Compliance Project Manager serves a critical role for the department leading project management initiatives for the Physician Compliance program consisting of approximately 3400 employed providers.
Physician Compliance receives many inquiries/consultations each year from internal stakeholders many of which result in distinct projects where project management needed. The position assists with all provider education initiatives such as monthly webinars and LMS development, training, auditing, and data analytics.
Additionally this position assists the Executive Director in all formal Physician Compliance Committee work (Health System and UNC Faculty Practice) and assists with Board reports for UNC Health Care System, UNC Rex, UNC Caldwell, UNC Faculty Practice and UNC Physicians Network and UNC Physicians Network Group Practice. The position will work closely with the Executive Director and Associate Director of Physician Compliance as well as other leaders within UNC Health based on specific projects.
