Seeking per diem experienced RNs to join the UNC Outpatient Float Pool to work in various outpatient complex procedural areas and operating rooms, including Bronchoscopy, Vascular Interventional Radiation, Cardiac Cath Lab and the Ambulatory Surgical Center. Work locations are in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough.
This is a per diem position requiring a minimum of three days available to work monthly, schedule is flexible based on RN availability and clinic needs.
ORIENTATION IS A ONE WEEK COMMITMENT. NO BENEFITS.
Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. ACLS preferred. One (1) year of relevant and current RN experience is required, preferably in PACU, perioperative, or complex procedural areas. Experience with moderate sedation, strong IV skills, and the ability to multitask is preferred.
